Welcome to the new home of the Fresh Start Posse.  The Fresh Start Posse was born on September 29, 2007, at the Walk From Obesity in Columbus, Ohio.  Patients of Dr. Stephan Myers and Fresh Start Bariatrics at Riverside Hospital, the "Posse" has committed themselves to remaining active in order to make sure that the tool they've been given continues to work for them and to make the most of their new lives.

Here at FreshStartPosse.com you'll be kept up to date on the latest Posse activities.  We'll keep the website updated with information about upcoming Posse events, as well as information and photos from past events.  Anyone who is a member of the Fresh Start Bariatrics Yahoo Support group can also find a listing of posse activities there.  The Yahoo group is a private group, and you must receive an invitation from a moderator to join that group.  If you are a patient of Dr. Myers contact someone at his office for further information about joining the Yahoo Support Group. 

Our Purpose

Our purpose, as members of the Fresh Start Posse, is to change our lives.  With the assistance of the tool we've been blessed with we enter in to a new life of activity meant to help us improve both our physical and mental health.  We will do those things we could not do in our old lives, never forgetting where we came from.  We are committed to supporting those who are making the journey with us. 

The Fresh Start Posse is not only about the activity, but about the fellowship and support that we are able to provide each other in our new life journey.
